Thanks to her expertise in restructuring and transformation in Belgium and Europe, she advises and helps organisations to manage complex situations effectively. Her knowledge of management communication, crisis management and internal communication contributes to the success of restructuring and change projects. Olivier, co-founder of SoWhatCommunications and partner, brings nearly 30 years of experience in politics, public affairs, corporate communications, and crisis management, with a strong network at the European level and in Belgium. Having co-founded SoWhatCommunications in 2023, he previously co- managed the Brussels EU office of Kekst CNC and was the Partner in charge of Belgian Public Affairs at Interel. He alslo served as a policy advisor for the Flemish Christian Democrats on Economic, Trade and Foreign Affairs policy, representing the party in the European People’s Party.
Olivier holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Illinois and studied law in Namur and Leuven.
He is fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
Olivier, is partner in SoWhatCommunications and brings over 30 years of experience in communication, marketing, and business management, advising national and international companies, government institutions, and brands. Previously, Olivier was Partner and Managing Director at The Oval Office, where he led the agency through significant growth. He also held senior roles at Duval Guillaume (Publicis), Interel (now Dentons Global Advisors), and Reynaers Group.
Olivier serves as a non-executive board member for commercial companies and NGOs. He holds a Master in Communication Sciences and a Bachelor in Law from Ghent University.
He is fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
Pierre is Partner-Director in SoWhatCommunications and is a seasoned public & regulatory affairs, commercial strategy and communication professional with over 20 years of experience in multinational environments. He specializes in aligning public affairs strategies with business goals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and fostering strong relationships with political decision-makers, advocacy groups and civil society organizations.
Pierre has built an extensive network in Belgium and Luxembourg and has contributed to publications and spoken at industry events on public and economic affairs. He served on the board of the Federation of Belgian Enterprises (VBO-FEB) for several years.
He holds master’s degrees in Business Economics and Operations & Technology Management from the University of Ghent.

Stefanie, co-founder of SoWhatCommunications in 2023 and partner, brings 14 years of experience in public affairs, corporate communication, regulatory affairs and association management.
She has worked across Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the EU, developing expertise in complex regulatory environments. Stefanie specializes in creating lobby strategies that align local and international objectives and building relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, federations and industry peers, advocacy groups and media. Her expertise helps clients navigate sensitive policy areas and manage reputational challenges.
Stefanie holds a Law Degree from KU Leuven and a post-graduate in Marketing from VLEKHO.
She is fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
Wim Hautekiet, partner in SoWhatCommunications, has over 30 years of experience in business and finance, having held executive roles across Europe.
He began his career at the Brussels bar (Linklaters) and later served as General Counsel for BNY Mellon, JP Morgan, Clearstream, and Dexia. Wim also served as CEO and Chairman of BNY Mellon’s European banking subsidiary and co-founded Quantessence Limited, a fintech startup, where he is now Chief Risk & Compliance Officer.
He holds degrees in law, psychology, philosophy from the Universities of Leuven and Illinois and studied finance at Solvay and INSEAD.
Wim divides his time between Belgium and England and is fluent in English, Dutch, and French.
